What is a random group generator?

Can I create groups by size?

Yes. Choose members per group and enter a target size. The final group may be smaller if the list does not divide evenly.

How are uneven groups handled?

With a fixed group count, people are distributed in rotation so the largest group has at most one more person than the smallest.

Are the names I enter private?

Yes. Grouping runs in your browser, and names are not sent to or stored by a backend server.
